The Me in You
Impressed by the rough edits of their fourth album, I was happy to join The Me in You.
We released and toured with album "How Does It Feel to Be Wrong All The Time".
We made our heartfelt contrubution to Jeroen Meus' documentary "Dagen zonder broer".
In the run up to of the release of our 5th album "Ida Fischer is Niemand" we have released "Bring the Beat Back", also featured in "Dagelijkse Kost" on tv and "Sturmfrei"

Stay tuned for the release of "Ida Fischer is Niemand" on 27the of March!!

Open Garage Trio
Chris Mentens (double bass), Nathan Kerstens (piano) and Nico Manssens (drums) played together in different line-ups over the years.

A first concert in trio confirmed the magic and a pile of compositions were waiting in the drawer. Determined to develop the music, they worked on the pieces in the Garage, the musical epicenter of the Mentens household.

In the music we find echoes of the open sound of the ECM label, but most of all we hear original pieces for 3 equal voices: drums, bass and piano. Or how a sound from Munich and a garage in Merksem can be connected and old love never dies.
